WRT302 The Publishing Process (8)

The advent of electronic technologies and platforms has had major implications for both writers and publishers. This has resulted in significant changes and challenges to traditional publishing markets for books, journalism and across wider media outlets. This subject develops awareness of the changes in those areas through a broad examination of the current markets in the writing and publishing industries, with a focus on an examination of markets and trends.  The subject prepares students for a potential career in a variety of areas related to writing and publishing by developing the skills required to create, edit and publish writing for different markets.
