Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

  • Topic 7: Fungi and parasites;
  • Topic 8: Viruses, Viroids, Prions;
  • Topic 9: Principles of Disease & Epidemiology;
  • Topic 10: Mechanisms of Pathogenicity, host pathogen interactions, host responses to infections; and
  • Topic 11: Applied microbiology and applications to human health.
