This subject introduces students to the concept of community disaster recovery and its focus within the emergency management context. It will explore the principles of community disaster recovery and examine how contemporary practice in community disaster recovery is evolving.The use of electronic technologies for communication is becoming more widely used within emergency management practice, and this subject provides students with the opportunity to use digital technologies to analyse and report on innovative contemporary community disaster recovery practice.
