This subject promotes a positive transition to the university learning environment for students planning to undertake any undergraduate degree at Charles Sturt University. The aim of the subject is to prepare students for the academic requirements of an undergraduate degree, and the implications and significance of pursuing university studies. The focus is on students acquiring foundational knowledge and applied skills necessary for academic success, including time management, academic integrity, basic computer literacy, independent learning skills, skills to understand and complete assessment tasks and career planning. It is expected to improve students' familiarity with university systems and boost their confidence in undertaking their chosen undergraduate degree.
