Taking an international perspective, key external influences on health services are critically analysed. Students are assisted in identifying and understanding global health priorities, expectations and challenges. Against this background, students consider government policy and social, regulatory, professional and accreditation influences and how a health manager and leader may advocate for policy changes at these levels.
