Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to research and critically analyse contemporary and emergent HRM issues and evaluate their impact on business performance;
  • be able to apply industry specific good practice frameworks and processes in developing HR policies, procedures and recommendations in response to emergent and contemporary issues;
  • be able to appraise, evaluate, and prioritise HR issues and consider implications including those impacting on a productive, sustainable and engaging workplace; and
  • be able to develop skills to foster collaboration and communication, transfer knowledge and ideas, build teams and influence stakeholders on issues relevant to HR operations and organisational sustainability.

  • Employee Value Proposition
  • Workforce wellbeing
  • Future of work (aging, virtual work, gig economy, generations, contracting, portfolio career)
