This subject enables students to extend their scope of chronic nursing knowledge and practice by investigating in detail, the specific needs and challenges of their chosen topic, in relation to nursing practice with the outcome being to inform chronic care nursing practice from a clinical, management, research or educational perspective. Students will identify, in collaboration with the subject co-ordinator and clinical mentor, a specific topic to advance their knowledge and skills.
