This subject will build upon the student's knowledge of assessment and clinical management and relate this to the paediatric patient following an intensive care approach in the out of hospital environment. The subject will explore emergency paediatric assessment using a structured approach and essential diagnostic techniques as well as outline the role of the paramedic in managing critically ill and injured children.
