This subject, delivered in two parts, provides students with a mentored research experience. Students will learn about research ethics, research methods, and research proposal and report writing. They will develop skills in critical review and appraisal, theory development and testing, study design and data collection, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, written communication in the form of a research proposal, and oral communication in the form of a presentation of the research proposal. Students completing this subject will need to ensure that they enrol in the subject during January, and regularly visit the Interact2 site during January and February, prior to their session of enrolment officially commencing, as critical early information and content will be made available during this time.
