Students develop skills in sound acquisition, sound editing, sound mixing, and sound spatialisation for various interactive environments and apply them to create virtual interactive sound.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to demonstrate and apply knowledge in sound acquisition and sound editing for interactive mediums;
  • be able to demonstrate and apply knowledge in the use of software for interactive audio presentation;
  • be able to create and synthesise virtual acoustic spaces; and
  • be able to create an interactive virtual sound environment.
