In this subject you will be introduced to the key concepts, terms, policies and support services related to Academic Integrity at Charles Sturt University. It is a self-paced subject, working through the content in an online environment. You will be assessed through a series of formative and summative quizzes.

All students will be automatically enrolled in this subject. This subject must be successfully completed during their first session of enrolment. A hold is placed on all grades until successful completion of the subject.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to discuss why academic integrity is important for study and future professional practice,
  • be able to explain the key concepts, principles and practices of academic integrity,
  • be able to demonstrate understanding of the importance of academic integrity when evaluating different sources and making notes,
  • be able to use and reference digital media (e.g. images and video) with academic integrity,
  • be able to demonstrate academic integrity through the appropriate use of referencing, and
  • be able to identify ways to show academic integrity when working with other students.
