This subject is designed to provide a firm foundation for developing skills in scientific communication. Students will learn about and develop academic, information and digital literacy skills as well as numeracy skills relevant to their discipline of study. Students will be introduced to the scientific method and the critical analysis of the scientific literature. This subject will also raise student awareness to evidence-based, professional and ethical issues relating to health and medical sciences.
