The overall aim of this subject is for students to become critical users and readers of research and to be aware of the national and international context in which they work. Students will examine the nature of complementary medicine and its role in different health care systems. The subject is also designed to develop students' knowledge of both research processes and evidence based practices (EBP) that support professional development and best practices within complementary medicine.
