This subject delivers theoretical knowledge of fundamental design principles through creative practice. The major emphasis of this subject is on studio practice as it relates to the diversity of the Creative Industries. It encourages an ethical, critical and reflexive approach to practice that is grounded in research and development, and embraces experimentation across a range of analogue and digital media. Students gain an understanding of design principles as they apply to spatial, temporal and emotive affect.
