CLS205 is a simulation based education subject. In this subject, students will be required to participate in clinical situations that are simulated for teaching and learning purposes, creating opportunities for deliberate practice of new skills without involving real patients. Paramedic students who take part in educational programs involving simulations perform less medical mistakes in clinical settings, and are able to better develop their critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills. Students will be required to apply paramedic skills in a supervised clinical environment.
