The subject develops students knowledge, skills and abilities in the discipline of Design and Content Creation. This subject expands on key concepts of content design, production and publication for a range of media channels. Students will develop the research and production skills and understanding of ethical and legal frameworks necessary for a content creation professional and demonstrate capacity to work in a content creation team.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to plan, produce and manage the design and production of content for a variety of media channels;
  • be able to demonstrate and illustrate the developing skills of a content creation professional;
  • be able to conceptualise ideas and undertake research to inform the development of diverse content for a variety of media; and
  • be able to demonstrate the skills of a content creator to work collaboratively in a team to meet a deadline.
