EEL416 Learning & Teaching at CSU introduces participants to key issues and challenges in planning, designing and facilitating learning in higher education. The subject addresses the needs of academic probation at CSU for academic staff from the School of Policing Studies and CSU staff on 1-3 year contracts. The subject addresses two key areas of academic activity relevant to academic probation at CSU and the Higher Education Academy (HEA) Associate Fellowship, which are HEA 1: Design and plan learning activities and/or programmes of study and HEA 2: Teach and/or support learning. Participants are required to demonstrate completion of the Indigenous Cultural Competency Program as an essential component of this subject.
