Drawing upon comparative international perspectives, this subject will examine selected educational trends, practices, issues and debates from around the world. The subject will consist of an in-depth examination of the theoretical and philosophical assumptions underlying educational and leadership issues. Students are encouraged to view their existing educational contexts from a wide range of perspectives (familiar and less familiar) applied across international settings. Reflection will be undertaken on the forces of globalisation that influence their educational thinking and leadership.
