Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to evaluate and communicate the fund-raising options (debt or equity) for a business including evaluating the financial risk and consequences of the options;
  • be able to apply various valuation methods to value an asset and determine which valuation method is the most advantageous for their client;
  • be able to analyse and communicate to a client on their corporate finance transactions ensuring they meet regulatory and ethical standards; and
  • be able to work collaboratively with other finance professionals
