HLT524 Practice Improvement Project (16)

This subject develops students capacity to lead practice improvement in their area of clinical practice with a focus on the completion of an independent, low-risk practice improvement project. With guidance from the subject coordinator or discipline-specific delegate, students will implement the practice improvement proposal they developed in an earlier subject. The stages of the project implemented during this subject will include further critical review of the literature to articulate the theoretical perspective informing the design and outcomes, along with data collection, interpretation, and analysis.  Where appropriate, students will be required to apply for ethics approval to meet the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research requirements. Students will demonstrate their ability to disseminate the findings or outcomes from the project through an oral presentation.
