In this subject students are introduced to the foundational knowledge and theory of management as it applies to the running of information agencies. Emphasis is on providing students with an understanding of management issues they are likely to face in the typical operations of an information agency. Theoretical concepts such as supervision and leadership and their application to practice will also be explored.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
