This subject provides an overview of Islamic fundamental beliefs and worldview with particular reference to the Qur'an and the Prophetic narrations (Hadith). This subject focuses primarily on the six essential articles of the Islamic creed and offers a theological analysis that includes the views of various schools of Islamic theology. The modules in the subject will address the Islamic concept of God and understanding of human nature, the creation story according to the Qur'an, the unseen world, revelation, prophethood and the Prophet Muhammad, and other fundamental Islamic doctrines and beliefs.
