The effective management of investigations is a forensic exercise governed by criminal law and actioned through informed practice. This subject focuses on investigation management practices that are utilised broadly across all areas of criminal law. These include crime scene control and exhibit management, victim care and preparation of the evidence for presentation at court. The subject examines these and other current management issues within the law of homicide, drug trafficking, sexual assault and property offences.
