This subject is designed for students who enter university without a strong background in mathematics and who are planning to enrol in subjects requiring basic numeracy skills such as science, finance, teaching, computing and information technology. The subject reinforces calculation skills, basic algebra, working with formulae and applications of exponential and logarithmic functions.
