In both the written proposal and the seminar presentation students are expected to draw upon their previous review of the literature and methodology chapters. Students will demonstrate their thorough knowledge of the paradigms and methodologies by which knowledge in the field of their enquiry has been advanced. Within the research proposal they must address the ethical issues associated with the conduct of their research. After supervisory approval students will submit their comprehensive research proposal for Faculty peer review and defend it in an oral presentation.
