SSS085 Essential Communication Skills (2)

Being able to communicate effectively with a range of people using a variety of modes of communication is important for success in university study and in life. This subject is designed to introduce the communication skills that are essential at a tertiary level. In this subject students will learn how to engage with study materials that are presented in a range of different formats, and will learn how to work with and communicate with staff and with peers using a range of different forms of communication. In addition, students will learn principles for developing responses and demonstrating knowledge using different modes of communication as required by assessment tasks and learning activities.
