This subject enables candidates to undertake a literature review relevant to their research project. Candidates will refine their literature-search, review and reporting skills. The subject requires candidates to be thoroughly conversant with the literature relevant to their research topic and to understand/identify the ontological, axiological, methodological and epistemological context of their topic. Skills of critical review, analysis and synthesis are developed. Candidates, in consultation with the supervisory team, are required to complete a draft literature review as preparation for their proposed research project.
