This subject is designed to give students a fundamental working knowledge and understanding of 3D animation. This will allow the student to create simple and complex animated projects which may be used in broadcast quality productions or hybrid digital media.

Students are assumed to have a demonstrable knowledge of the practice of producing 3D images for a range of media uses before entering this subject. Students who do not have a working knowledge of the software and hardware employed in the 3D industry, and are not capable of creating photorealistic models and renders with professional 3D software and are advised to undertake VFX105 first.
