Students are required to have access to the industry standard graphic design software package - the Adobe Creative Suite.
This subject will introduce the history, principles and applications of typography as a means of expression and communication. It will also examine the relationship between type and image within both the print and digital context. Students will explore page structure and the use of grids within single and double page print layouts, brochure and other promotional material design, and begin to build an appreciation of related production processes.
