It is expected that students have access to:
- Avid Pro Tools;
- MIDI Controller keyboard;
- Headphones;
- A device capable of recording sound and video; and
- A soldering iron and the ability to purchase electronic components.
This subject investigates the role of the soundtrack and sound design in terms of both theory and practice. Students will explore the role of sound on contemporary screen works, and also be required to create their own practice-led work. The work will be underpinned by screen sound theory.
