Admission requirements

The Graduate Certificate is seen as a course which provides an opportunity for senior police managers (who have not completed tertiary studies) to complement their management experience with formal study.

The course is designed for one:
· who is currently employed in a Police Service (Sworn and Non-sworn)
· who has extensive experience in policing, (approximately ten years) and;
· who has management or supervisory experience.

Completion of a relevant TAFE or equivalent courses would be an advantage.

Credit for previous study

No advanced standing can be given for students in the Graduate Certificate.

Professional recognition

This course has been submitted to the National Police Education Standards Council for accreditation.

Course requirements

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete four compulsory subjects.
