A final session subject for the local government major. Conceptual
and theoretical foundations of public policy and policy making
in local government are examined together with consideration of
contemporary issues impacting upon the policy making and management
processes. Analysis of contemporary issues requires students to
draw upon and apply knowledge gained in prerequisite subjects.
