Deals with the theory and practice of communication, planning for heritage and environmental interpretation. The subject is equally relevant to heritage and recreation managers of protected areas (eg. National Parks, historic sites, recreation reserves etc.) as it is for the private ecotourist operator. The main issues covered include, the identification of the audience, the use of media and the modification of values and behaviour for recreationists /tourists in the protected area setting.
