Introduces basic concepts and techniques : in descriptive statistics-data
representation, data reduction; probability basic theory
and applications; continuous and discrete distributions-characteristics
and applications; statistical inference sampling distributions,
estimation and hypothesis testing; correlation and simple linear
regression; forecasting introduction to elementary techniques.
Students will be introduced to an interactive statistical package.
