Master of Arts (Visual & Performing Arts)
Students undertake coursework and a supervised project in the
visual arts, theatre, television production or graphic design.

Course requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete
- 96 subject points, consisting of three year-long subjects
- (16 subject points each), one year of Topic Development
- (16 subject points) and a supervised Exhibition/Performance/Project
over two years (32 subject points). The subjects deal with critical
theory and its application to contemporary arts practice.
Residential schools
Residential schools are held in the first two years of the course.
These provide an opportunity for students to present work in progress
for discussion and to participate in seminars dealing with coursework.
