The course is designed to provide a general education in accounting and financial management to graduates of non-accounting disciplines. The course is a subset of the Master of Accountancy degree.

Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or a qualification deemed to be equivalent. Applicants with other academic and/or professional qualifications and/or work experience acceptable to the University will be considered.
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete the equivalent of four subjects (32 subject points).
The course is designed to allow students to decide what discipline they would like to specialise in, and thus choose their subjects to best meet that specialisation.
Each subject has a residential school. Students in Australia attend these schools in Wagga Wagga. Overseas students attend in selected overseas locations.
