Master of Business Administration

The course will equip graduates with knowledge regarding a broad
variety of subjects such as: accounting, economics, finance, management,
marketing and strategic planning, which are critical components
of a successful organisation, and essential for managerial exellence.
Graduates will develop analytical, problem solving and other skills
related to management. These skills will be imparted through the
delivery of high quality educational material, which will include
case studies, and assignments focussing on managerial problems.

Normal course duration
The course operates on a trimester system. Candidates taking two
subjects per session would finish in two years part-time.
Admission criteria
Applicants are normally required to have an undergraduate degree
from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or a qualification
deemed to be equivalent. Applicants with other academic and/or
professional qualifications and/or work experience acceptable
to the University will be considered.
Credit for previous study
Credit up to a maximum of six subjects may be given to a student
who is deemed to have completed equivalent study at a recognised
tertiary institution. No credit will be granted for subjects completed
at undergraduate level.
Course requirements
Students are required to complete the equivalent of twelve (12)
eight credit point subjects.
Course structure
The course will consist of twelve subjects, of which six will
be core subjects. The remaining six will be chosen from electives
which have been grouped into specialist streams. Students may
take one of the streams with the remaining two subjects chosen
from any of the subjects in the elective offerings or alternatively,
may choose a variety of subjects from any of the electives without
having to specialise. Students may exit early and receive a Graduate
Certificate (four subjects) or Graduate Diploma (eight subjects).
