This course is comprised of three articulated MBA degrees being offered by the Faulty of Commerce, which share a common first year and which provides flexibility for students to transfer from one degree to another. The course is designed to equip students with generic, technical, computational, analytical, critical and evaluative skills relevant to accounting, financial management and the corporate treasury function. Those skills will be imparted through a spiral learning process based on the use of progressive and appropriately structured study materials, including extensive use of contemporary case studies.

Admission criteria

Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian institution or a qualification deemed to be equivalent. Applicants with other academic and/or professional qualifications and/or work experience acceptable to the University will be considered.

Credit for previous study

Credit up to a maximum of five subjects of the twelve subject course may be given to a student who has completed equivalent study at a recognised tertiary institution.

Course requirements

The course comprises 12 subjects in total with a common first year of four subjects. Students will select one of three strands to be completed in years 2 and 3.
