Normal course duration

Part-time 1-2 years (2-4 sessions), for comprehensive nurses with college diplomas.

Admission requirements

Students must be eligible to register as a nurse in Canada.

Credit for previous study

Credit may be granted for tertiary studies in subjects which are relevant and equivalent to Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) subjects, and have been undertaken in the last ten years.

Course requirements

The course is available to registered nurses who obtained their original nursing qualification in a college or polytechnic. Hospital trained nurses may apply for the course, but will be required to undertake an eight subject conversion. Credit provisions apply, as above, for hospital trained nurses.
