Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Imaging) Conversion - Singapore

This conversion course allows qualified radiographers in Singapore who hold a DCR(R) or equivalent, or the Professional Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography (Singapore) to achieve academic degree level.

Admission requirements

Applicants must be qualified radiographers with at least 2 years of clinical experience and hold either a DCR(R) or PDDR (Singapore).

Applicants who hold an HDCR qualification will be exempt from the following subjects: RAD390, RAD391 and RAD393.

Professional recognition

The Bachelor of Applied Science is nationally accredited in Australia and a registered three year degree course in tertiary education. Graduates of this program may practise in Australia providing they hold a Statement of Accreditation from the Australian Institute of Radiography. Inquiries regarding this Statement must be directed to the Australian Institute of Radiography.

Course requirements

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete a minimum of eight subjects (or 64 subject points). A compulsory residential school will be held at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga campus, for each course participant.
