Graduate Certificate in Applied Science (Ornithology)

This is the first tertiary level course available in Australia for persons wishing to undertake a study of Ornithology.

Current professional training in zoology and environmental science provides little ornithological content, this course provides professionals with an avenue to upgrade their qualifications. It also provides the many amateur ornithologists with a means to increase their knowledge and skills.

Admission requirements

Applicants will be expected to hold an undergraduate qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.

Persons not holding such a qualification but who have had at least five years of relevant professional experience or experience with a recognised ornithological society will also be considered for admission.

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 32 subject points
