EPT511 Education Studies: Orientation to Primary Education (8)
Corequisite: EEP510
Enrolment Restriction: Entry into the Master of Teaching (Primary) program or as determined by the Course Coordinator.
This subject introduces students to the teaching profession and to primary education. It explores classroom practice in terms of teaching and learning, the developing child, the structuring of teaching-learning experiences, and the use of ICT to support professional practice. It encourages students to develop a critical awareness of their professional needs and responsibilities.
