The aim of this subject is to understand and examine a wide range of ethical and professional practice issues and concepts in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field. Students will analyse ethical issues and concepts surrounding the ICT profession as well as the current practices involving ICT. Different types of widely used principles and the mechanisms that are used to realise these principles will be examined. Various ethical implications will also be explored, especially with respect to privacy. Aspects of Information Technology (IT) professional practices will be investigated.
