Enrolment Restriction: Not available to students who have completed subjects ITC342 or ITC233 or ITC591 or ITC592.
This subject focuses on the concept of internetworking in general and TCP/IP Internet communication protocols in particular. It aims to cover both the architecture of network interconnections and principles underlying protocols that make interconnected networks function as a single, unified communication system. Some familiarity with data communications assumed.
