JST492 Strategic Intelligence Practice (16)
This subject gives students a comprehensive understanding of strategic intelligence practice from a practitioner's perspective.
The function of strategic processes and products will initially be discussed via clarification of key terminology & concepts, and contextualised through a discussion of the relationship between strategic intelligence and broader organisational goals.
Students will be required to consider and apply project management techniques to the production of a strategic intelligence product. They will also be required to apply client liaison skills in a role play setting with the tutor. Students will be guided through a range of research and analysis considerations, along with a number of tools suitable for use in the strategic intelligence context. This learning will be underpinned with a series of linked practical assignments.
