This subject focuses on the role of power in the practice of leadership. Students will evaluate theoretical and contemporary approaches to power and leadership. Students will research and examine various perspectives of power relations and dynamics across personal, organisational and social dimensions. The subject seeks to optimise students' communication skills to mobilise and respond to power. Students will reflect on their sources of strength and weakness, to inform a resilient response to existent power dynamics in the context of their values and ethics.
