In this subject students develop the knowledge and skills required to lead and manage groups of people in outdoor recreation activities. Effective leadership and communication skills are developed in real-life settings. Students are taught the importance of minimising the impact of outdoor recreation activities on the natural environment. Specialised training in various outdoor recreation activities will be an intrinsic part of the subject.
