Students apply expert knowledge and skills to progress and finalise the research project. Workplace learning is also undertaken while completing the research project to systematically engage with research-led/integrated practice and satisfy requirements of relevant professional bodies (veterinary specialist colleges): the research-integrated practice will support the research outcomes of the students, as per the AQF specifications for professional doctorate degrees (AQF level 10).

Students will produce a body of significant and original research outcomes in the form of a dissertation for independent examination by external examiners of international standing.
