Throughout your studies, the Faculty of Business may offer students the opportunity to study modules overseas as part of the MBA. Upon successful completion of the module, students receive one elective subject as credit.
As the opportunities become available, students will be notified via the MBA course forum. Places are usually limited and are allocated on a first come basis. To be eligible, students need to ensure that they have one elective subject free.
In cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences, Berne, Switzerland (UASB), the Faculty of Business offers a one week intensive module "Doing Business in China," in Shanghai. The module is delivered by staff from a Chinese University and the group work is assessed by CSU and UASB. The module consists of classroom activities and site visits to different companies within China. Students are assessed using a mixture of assignments, group work and presentations.
In cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences, Berne, Switzerland (UASB), the Faculty of Business offers a two week intensive module "Doing Business in Europe". This two week module is a combination of lectures, and site visits to companies. There is also an opportunity to undertake tours of the region. For those who have never been to Switzerland, it is a beautiful country, with many scenic attractions, and interesting places to visit.
The Faculty of Business receives an invitation each year from the Institute Supérieur du Commerce, Paris (ISC) offering an excellent opportunity to Charles Sturt University MBA students to study the module Doing Business in and with France. The module runs for one week and upon successful completion, students receive credit for one elective subject in the MBA.
