Helens role is Quality Management System (QMS) Delegate & Acting Laboratory Manager
She is responsible for document controll & internal auditor for QMS; Calibration of weighing and measurement apparatus, including labware (glass pipette, burette, and volumetric flask), POVA & balances; Development, maintenance and applying Standard Operating Procedures and Protocols; Chemicals registration, storage and disposal. Laboratory management; Support research projects when requested.

As laboratory manager she oversees other employees in a laboratory & coordinates all activities within a laboratory environment and ensures QMS Standard Operating Procedures and protocols are maintained and applied. Maintaining quality checks on safety of laboratories, including biohazards and insures maintenance of the laboratories according to Good Laboratory Practices. Organise the performance of annual external services for instruments and equipments. Liais with facility manager to ensure that a facility remains in compliance with all safety regulations. High proficiency in chemical and laboratory instrument analysis is essential.
